Taliesin Preservation of Spring Green, WI is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to work alongside our Communications team and with all departments to help support our communication strategy and social media platforms. ABOUT TALIESIN PRESERVATION

As stewards of the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, our dual mission is to preserve the cultural, built, and natural environments that comprise the Taliesin property and to conduct educational and cultural programs that provide a greater understanding of his architecture and ideas. We are different from other historic sites because we are not satisfied with just being a museum. We want the estate to stay filled with life.

There is an energy here that captures and engages people. And the staff, without exception, are creative people who care passionately about their work and are full of ideas. We are a small organization and, as such, we offer a lot of flexibility and opportunity for people to develop within their areas of interest--and we are invested in their success!

VOLUNTEERING AS A SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

As a Social Media Coordinator you work closely with the Communications Manager to manage Taliesin Preservation's social media accounts. You will spend a couple of hours per week assisting managers in proofing and scheduling content, overseeing Twitter and LinkedIn accounts, creating Facebook and Instagram stories, and posting and scheduling content from the Communications Manager.

It is an opportunity to work in a community that embraces the principles of Frank Lloyd Wright's vision through the integration of farming, gardening, and cooking as a celebration of a beautiful way of living.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

  • Experience with business social media accounts
  • Effective communicator with strong writing skills
  • Detail oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and grammar
  • Ability to work independently

Experience is a must but we are happy to help you grow your skills. Taliesin Preservation will gladly provide any necessary documentation of work performed required by any education or professional endeavor. Are you a creative with social media experience?
